Aquarium Berlin Logo Progress

Last Semester I had the course Brand Communication where I designed a Logotype for "100 Jahre Aquarium Berlin" (which means> 100 Years Aquarium Berlin).

The fish is their original logo, so I kind of wanted to keep the same style. The challenge was to combine the Hundred with a fitting Symbol for the Aquarium, which is known for it's diversity of species.

Our course visited the Aquarium in Berlin before we started working on our ideas. Amazing how many different fishes they had and so beautiful jellyfish x3
Back home I began to scribble, refined the sketch and continued my work in Illustrator.

I thought it would be interesting to show you a bit of the progress ^-^
I made the typography myself to match my seahorse symbol. The jellyfish picture I took at the trip to the Aquarium.
